Location: Remote US Based- Southeast, Midwest, and Southwest 

Job Summary: 

We are seeking a driven, compassionate Associate Attorney with at least one year of experience practicing law in a law firm environment. This position is ideal for licensed attorneys who have a strong background in client-facing work, whether gained in customer service, reception, hospitality, restaurants, or similar roles, prior to law school.

In this role, approximately 80% of your time will be focused on client service attorney work, ensuring clients receive the highest level of support and communication throughout their Social Security Disability case. 

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring timely, clear, and empathetic communication throughout the case process.
  • Review case files, medical summaries, and legal briefs prepared by support staff, making edits as needed.
  • Collaborate with supervising attorneys on case strategy and development.
  • Maintain accurate and organized case files.
  • Stay current on Social Security Disability law and relevant regulations.
  • Conduct occasional pre-hearing client calls and assist with hearing preparation.
  • Participate in training and professional development to expand into brief writing and hearing representation over time.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications: 

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Active license to practice law in any U.S. state
  • Minimum of one year of experience practicing law in a law firm.
  • Prior professional experience in customer service, reception, hospitality, or client-facing roles before attending law school.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client service skills
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a high volume of cases
  • Compassionate and dedicated to helping others
  • Proficiency with video conferencing technology and other relevant software​​​​​​​

The salary range listed for this position is a good faith estimate based on the role and relevant experience and may vary depending on individual qualifications and company compensation guidelines. Please note that this job posting is subject to applicable state pay transparency laws. Salary $60-65k.
